About Neil G. Hausig

Neil Hausig, Associate Broker and Global Real Estate Advisor, moved to East Hampton from Paris at the beginning of 1979. In Paris, he and his wife developed a jewelry design and manufacture company that had clients such as Christan Dior and Issey Miyake. Before Paris, Neil worked in a variety of social service programs while studying for his PhD in Economics. In 1980 he formed a small investment company in New York City for the sale and development of projects to mostly foreign investors.

In 1982 Neil went to work for Windward Realty in East Hampton. Windward specialized in land development and investment properties, and Neil developed a level of expertise in both. During the next three decades he participated in the sale and development of more than 35 subdivisions. His experience with builders, developers and investors has given him an added edge in understanding and evaluating the market. For investments and high end sales, Neil finds this perspective invaluable. Neil's experience ranges from $200,000,000 hotels to $500,000 houses.
